Our products are all made from polar fleece.

They are made by our fabulous sewing team on a variety of sewing machines, some domestic, some industrial.  Our team cut, pin and sew all the garments themselves in Hastings, UK.  This hand finished touch means that all garments are made to a high standard, you won't find any loose ends or gaping seams in our clothes!

We use four main stitches for the product's seams, either the running stitch, the twin needle running stitch, the stretch stitch or the three stitch zigzag stitch.  All hems are finished with the three stitch zigzag stitch to provide a neat, decorative edge that stretches with the fleece.

Polar fleece has a deep pile on one side and a smoother side on the other. On most garments we make the deep pile on the outside for it's look and feel but on our Thermal Tops and Trousers we put the deep pile to the inside against the skin as this then acts similar to how a wet suit does keeping the warm layer next to your skin, but in this case warm air rather than water!  Our fleece is also wicking (takes water away from the skin) so the Thermal Tops are ideal for use as a base layer.

Some of our products are made from a single layer of fleece others are available in a single or double layered version such as the Snarfs, Scarves and Hats.  Where a double layered version is available too we recommend that the single layered version be used for normal cold conditions and the double layered for where serious thermal properties are required like in out door work, activities and sports such as skiing, fishing, hiking, sailing, gardening, walking etc.  Our fleece is also water resistant which helps keep the cold out too.
